Based in Mansfield we operate a mobile service, providing support, advice, guidance and cycle fix solutions for local riders and riders passing through the Mansfield area.
For customers who require services beyond
Mansfield, I offer a fixed fee call out recovery service at the following
rates:
- Recovery Pack A 10 to 20 miles £30.00 + Time and spares for any repairs that may be required
- Recovery Pack B 20 to 40 Miles £60.00 + Time and spares for any repairs that may be required
- For S & S CycleFix - Solutions beyond 40 miles are
available upon request

- General safety check.
- Frame and forks checked for alignment.
- Major nuts and bolts checked for tightness.
- Wheels checked for tightness.
- Tyres checked for wear and tear.
- Tyres inflated.
Brakes....
- Checked and adjusted.
- Brake pads checked for wear and damage.
- Cables checked.
- Lubricated.
Gears.....
- Checked and adjusted.
- Front and rear derailleurs checked for wear.
- Cables checked.
- Lubricated.
Drivetrain.....
Cranks, chain and rear block or sprockets checked for wear and lubricated.
Bottom bracket....
- Checked for wear and tear.
Wheels....
Checked for tightness and trueness.
NB... All components fitted are at extra cost.
Silver Service.... £45
- As Bronze Service plus....
- Wheel bearings changed and fresh grease fitted. (Ball bearing wheels only)
- Seat post cleaned and greased.
NB... All components fitted at extra cost.
Gold Service..... £55
As Silver Service plus....
- Bottom Bracket.... New bearings and fresh grease fitted (Ball bearing type only)
- Headset.... New bearings and fresh grease fitted (Ball bearing type only)
- If sealed bearings then they will be checked for wear.
Repairs Prices
- Bike safety check and inspection....... £10
- Cycle that is new and boxed to be built and set up for you... £25 (small kids bike £20)
- Fit tyre... £5 per tyre. (plus price of tyre if applicable)
- Fit inner tube.. £5 per tube (plus price of tube if applicable)
- Puncture repair... £9 or £16 for 2.
- Brakes..... Adjusted and lubricated £12.
- Brakes..... New inner cable fitted £8 per cable.
- Brakes..... Fit new pads from £5
- Gears..... Adjusted and lubricated £12.
- Gears..... New inner cable fitted £8 per cable.
- Bottom Bracket..... check and adjust £10
- Bottom Bracket..... Fit new bearings and fresh grease £18. (Ball bearing type only)
- Headset..... Check and adjust £5
- Headset..... Fit new bearings and grease £15 (Ball bearing type only)
- Chain... Fitted £5 (plus price of new chain if applicable)
- Rear mechanism fitted £10
- Front mechanism fitted £10
- Components fitted from £5
- Wheels trued from £12
- New grease and bearings fitted from £8 per wheel.
